Journey of the Being that is Human

What of the being who contains this consciousness in a physical form? To an outsider his identity might seem obvious, but to him even with all of his great thoughts and considerations and ponderings….he seeks proof of who and what he is and who and what he is modeled after. In one moment, part of him may wonder if he has evolved while another part insists that he himself has been created.

As his own thoughts, beliefs and expectations form and create his moment to moment circumstances, he may not even be aware that he has this power. He may believe himself to be powerless and think of himself as just so much dust in the wind. He may even sing to himself of such imaginings.

Everywhere around him and within him is the evidence and proof of who and what he is, but he is able to create version after version, spin after spin of what it all may mean or prove. With his freedom of thought and creativity, with his own free will, he can paint a picture of his personal reality that can be frighteningly void or blissfully complete.

If he desires, he can see proof of anything he believes or ignore all evidence of his own identity and powers.. He can confuse himself, with or without intention, or become instantly enlightened by the spark of a thought within his own mind.

The modern communications systems of our world today can present an endless, overwhelming barrage of information to the consciousness of “modern man”. He may still have the same mental and physical “components” as his cave man predecessors but he is presented with a myriad of thought information constantly both from within and now from without. He might even wish at times that he could escape to a cave and the natural existence that is his heritage.

In the years that his existence has gone from finding food and shelter to buying food and shelter, the uses to which he has had to put his consciousness have drastically changed. Nevertheless he continually finds the time to ponder and assess the origin of his own being and consider the methods and powers that he possesses within himself.
