Respect Yourself As You Change

If you change beliefs that you have previously held, do not berate yourself for having held beliefs that you no longer feel are true or right.  Respect yourself and realize that if you are breathing and in no pain at this moment, you are winning. You have arrived at this moment in tact mentally and spiritually and you had to believe certain things in order to do that.

Every decision that you ever made and every belief that you have ever held was right for you at the time. Otherwise, you would not be here now. However, there may have been many things about yourself that you did not consider. You may have ignored inner feelings and intuitions. You may have fought against your “self” and pushed your will, your free will, to the limits of near mental or physical extinction.

You may now look at your life and see that, where you are and who you are is a result of what you have believed or come to know. Should you decide to believe and know differently, then you can expect your new circumstances to also be the results of these different and new beliefs and knowledge.
