There are people who have an intense interest in the “origin” of mankind. They spend their life researching the history of our species in order to try to make a determination of how the species evolved. Others will try to direct their search in such a way that they can determine who or what created mankind.

They may consider themselves to be evolutionists or creationists or a combination of both. They may relish other theories beyond this classic clash, but regardless, these individuals are seeking “proof” of how this human creature came into (physical) existence. They are looking for concrete evidence or some form of authority beyond what they may feel inside. They may or may not be “in touch” with any inner feelings that speak to them of the origin of their own existence.

Super conscious “Knowingness”

This persistent fascination with the origin of man is based on a super-conscious “knowingness” within each individual. Each individual can intuitively feel various aspects of the great story behind who and what is a human being. Some individuals search for the proof or evidence of their own origin because they believe that by uncovering that particular answer, many other mysteries will be laid open to them.

Often they feel that if they could just know more about how they “came to be” then they think that will enable them to feel satisfied or complete. It is a yearning to put all mystery at rest and quench an unquenchable thirst for a basic indisputable TRUTH. With each and every version of that truth that they encounter, the search and the thirst only increases. Verbal descriptions may leave them flat and a sense of never quite knowing, “for sure”, may persist.

At the same time, they may experience an overwhelming feeling that, deep down inside, they do KNOW this answer for themselves and they can not “pinpoint” it or verbalize it or adequately describe or PROVE it. They may look to religious or spiritual explanations outside of themselves. They may seek scientific, historical or evolutionary explanations. In each case, however, they are seeking information that will “click” with or “confirm” their own personal feelings. They look to justify, and “prove” their own intuitions, beliefs and inner knowledge.

In regard to these issues, there are authors who will offer you many various forms of “authority” that may or may not impress you. These may range from someone claiming to be “half-alien half- human” to those who channel “entities” to those who have conversations with a deity within themselves. You may turn to old and famous scriptures, and what is commonly referred to as the “inspired words of God”.

In your practical, realistic and modern day to day life, you may have trouble finding the time to find the proof that allows you to connect all the dots that will lead you to the answer of your true origin. As you simultaneously strive to survive, maintain your health, and satisfy personal desires, your devotion to the quest of “proving out” personal curiosities, regarding the great mysteries of the origin of existence, may take a back seat to everyday immediate demands.

The so-called “truth seekers” who withdraw from society and journey off into purely mystical realms of learning and “enlightenment” are becoming fewer in number in comparison to those who take the paths of the modernistic part-time street corner philosophers. There are so many versions of “truth” and “origin” being presented (and believed) that we are existing in a society deluged with “spin doctors”.

Each of these versions presents topics and subject matter that plays to the intense curiosity of the species in regard to unproven, unverified issues that sit at the forefront of existence itself. Each time you search for the answers and explanations to the origin of physical existence you will be led to “beginnings” that come before that which is physical.
